With our Environmental Policy we commit to minimize our impact on the environment through specific programs and practices such as waste reduction, efficient energy and water consumption and implementation of sustainable practices both internally and through our guests and suppliers.
Specifically:
- We comply and exceed Environmental Legislation both compulsory and voluntary
- Our policy towards the environment is available and promoted to our guests
- We communicate our commitments to our employees and suppliers
- We have developed an environmental plan and welcome your support for its implementation
- We ensure that our activities are sustainable as much as possible
- We have implemented a recycling program for glass, paper, plastic and cans/tins
- We are committed to making environmental improvements with consumption of natural resources
- We make every effort to use water efficiently and avoid pollutants entering the drainage system
- We use energy efficient products
- We educate and train our staff to implement environmentally friendly practices
- We seek and use local products and services to reduce transportation emissions
- We compost our organic waste
- We avoid using chemicals which have a negative effect on the environment
- We maximize the use of electronic communication and data storage as an alternative to paper
- We take into account the environmental quality and impact of food products and when possible, we purchase food which has been grown locally
- We evaluate our practices regularly and seek to improve those that adversely effect the environment
